Spend your Saturday night laughing with us

We are so excited about the Saturday night lineup we’ve got cooking for you, but there are two shows in particular we just had to highlight for you.

Our early show on Saturday night will feature some great opening acts and then, all the way from Montreal, it is…

50/50! Half of the cast are trained actors with scripts. The other half are improvisers who have no idea what’s going on. This very, very funny show is the perfect marriage of scripted theatre and unscripted comedy. It’s played to sell-out crowds at the Montreal Improv Theatre and Just For Laughs. It is created and directed by Montreal improv impresario Vance Gillis. (With assistance during the festival from Ottawa improviser/actor/producer/writer Deborah Ring.)

Later on in the night is The Party Show, coming all the way from Toronto’s Bad Dog Theatre. Created and produced by Coko Galore and Tom Hearn, it is a hilarious show that is half improv-comedy and half dance-party. This show also some stellar openers, including a local troupe well-known for their house parties…

Stay tuned for more festival news! Tickets are already on sale (get ’em before they’re gone) and email us if you have any questions.
